Golden Fire, is a very unusual exotic material.
Basically it is formed from a calcareous matrix,
including white crystals of calcite, surrounded by
homothetic veins of red to pinkish limestone. Having
also a high ability to be polished, this material,
offers an excellent choice for decorative items. it is
possible to take advantage from the movement of the
veins to have beautiful images in mirror book matching
design.
Not to forget that
antiquating this material, give unusual look, because
the veins are-uncommonly- are harder that the matrix its
self, so after antiquating the veins will stay embossed
rather that to be on a lower level that the plane surface. |
