The mysterious appeal of gem stones, their exquisite colors, and the play of light would alone have made them precious to many, but their rareness, hardness, and durability have made them double valuable.

A semi precious stone should be a mineral, that is, an object formed spontaneously in nature without human intervention, this property is essential in our definition.

Gemstones are minerals that are treasured for their beauty and durability. A large number of minerals have been used as gems. Their value generally depends on four elements: the beauty of the stone itself; its rarity; its hardness and durability; also the skill with which it has been cut and polished, and presented gives also a higher value to any stone.

Semi precious stones are the minerals, with less hardness and less rarity, compared to precious stones like emerald and sapphire, as for the beauty and durability of these stones, they are not to be questioned.

A famous property presented in semi precious stones is dichroism, the ability of some gemstone to present two different colors when viewed in different directions; and transparency.

In certain gemstone, notably opals, brilliant areas of color can be seen within the stone; these areas change in hue and size as the stone is moved. This phenomenon, known as play of color, similar appearance could be seen on some rare shells also. Gems that are fibrous in structure show irregular interior reflections similar to those seen on watered or moiré silk. This optical property, which is called chatoyancy, is exhibited by several gems, notably the tiger's eye and cat's-eye.

As for the new revolutionary idea of using semi precious stones, it is after hard efforts and researches that ULTIMATE STONE achieved this project, the main difficulty was created by distance only: especially to find each semi precious stone suitable for this kind of use, that already are brought from the four corners of the world, like Brazil, India, Madagascar, Congo, Russia, Afghanistan, Indonesia etc…

As for now, ULTIMATE STONE is still searching for the more prestigious ways to use these semi precious stones.
